Been sitting on this news for awhile and I’m super excited to be a part of the Horrorsmith family. Can’t wait for y’all to read Good Girls Stay Alive. It’s one of my favorite things I’ve written. Lyndsey and the crew at Horrorsmith are pretty great and I am looking forward to working with them.
After self-publishing several novels, it’s still been a dream of mine to sign with a publisher. I won’t lie, it’s rough doing everything on your own and it will be nice to have someone in my corner besides my friends and family for once, especially since they’ll be handling fun stuff like cover design and editing. It’s a great sense of validation that someone else finds my writing good enough to release it under their banner. I’ve sold some short stories, but that feels different. This feels a lot bigger and it’s going to be an interesting journey, I’m sure.
I’ll keep you all updated as we progress. Right now we’re looking at late 2026 for the release so there’s going to be a bit of waiting involved. In the meantime, you can look for news about the latest Friday Night Frights novel in the near future.
